Our story
Friendship is a lifelong gift.
We have seen firsthand how easy it is for older adults to lose connection. Friends move away, life gets busier, and daily conversations become less frequent. But no one should ever feel forgotten or alone. That is why HappyTalks exists.
From our founder
A letter from Christian
HappyTalks started because I began paying closer attention.
I watched someone I love go from being surrounded by friends and conversation to spending more time at home after a medical diagnosis. She was still deeply loved, but I could see how much she missed the simple things: driving to a lunch, someone calling just to talk, sharing a laugh, and making her feel thought of.
Once I noticed it, I started seeing it everywhere. Through my years in real estate, I met families navigating similar changes as their loved ones grew older, families made the decision to sell a family home and introduced them to new environments like a senior community. Life became quieter, but the need for friendship, conversation, and connection never went away.
That’s why I created HappyTalks.
I wanted older adults to have someone who is genuinely excited to call them. Someone who remembers their stories, asks about the little things, laughs with them, listens to them, and reminds them that they matter.
Because no matter how old we get, we all deserve to feel seen, heard, and connected.

- Why I started HappyTalks
- My aunt has limited mobility and watching her world get smaller while she still had so much to give was something I couldn’t ignore. I started HappyTalks because I believed one consistent, warm phone call could change someone’s week. Our members remind me of that every single call.
Your loved one still has so much to share.
Give them someone to share it with.
Give them two free weeks. No app. No long-term contract.
Just a real human who shows up.
